Acceptable Use of the Group Policy: AUGP 2002-10-16 Purpose: The purpose of this document is to ensure that no one person jeopardizes the group, or the relations of the group to the community in which it exists. Policy: Offensive behavior toward CHLUG contributors will not be tolerated. 'Offensive Behavior' is defined as: 1 ) Actively seeking free technical support from an individual or company to the point that they complain to us. 2 ) Accessing network(s) without permission (cracking, hacking, whatever). 3 ) Distributing pirated software. 4) Etc. 'Contributors' are defined as: 1 ) CHLUG members. 2 ) CHLUG patrons. IE The Cherry Hill Public Library, local Linux businesses, and guest speakers. Consequences: Violating this policy one time will result in a warning. A second by the same member will result in a request to leave the group (Read: Banishment from meetings and the mailing list.) |
